Volvo launches XC40 Recharge Pure Electric, Single Motor SUV.
We reviewed the hybrid version of this HERE. The new single engine XC40 Recharge Pure Electric has: a single electric motor on the front axle, a range of around 380km, 170kw/300Nm worth of power.
XC40 Recharge Pure Electric single motor comes months after the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric which was launched in August. Model Year 23 XC40 Recharge Pure Electric vehicles get:
- a new front bumper
- frameless grille plate
- new headlamp surrounding finishes
- new rear bumper inserts

The XC40 Recharge Pure Electric underlines the Volvo aim of being 100% electric/part electric by 2025, on the way to full electric only, by 2030.
Australia pricing for the single motor XC40 Recharge Pure Electric is $72,990 MRRP, and comes on one trim level only.
